The Set Drive line is suppressed without the verbose option. The -q option is performed after the set operation and reports on the configuration after the change. It can be used to query only:$ ./gp -g17 -q

Got Drive=7, slew=true, hysteresis=false

Alternate Mode

The alternate mode of the GPIO can also be queried and set:$ ./gp -g17 -a

GPIO 17 is in Output mode.

Setting the alternate mode is done with the -A option:$ ./gp -g17 -A5

$ ./gp -g17 -a

GPIO 17 is in ALT5 mode.
